121. Houve Missions - getting mining frigate level 1? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The tutorials used to be "undock now... congratulations" That was it. The whole thing. Wait till you try to mange your orbiting range on one target while keeping transversal up on another, checking d-scan, keeping tabs on local & remembering ...

122. Houve Missions - getting mining frigate level 1? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
You should've also been given a skill book. "Mining frigate" Inject the book and train it. Level 3 won't take more than a few hours. If you plan on mining for a living then I wouldn't bother training it past there. Maybe even lane it at 1.

125. Fitting problems. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The lml corax is a tight fit. Honestly, anything with lml's is a tight fit. You will need to sacrifice tank & some utility for fitting mods/rigs until you get your fitting skills up to par. Are you using eft or pyfa? You can play around with ...

126. Help with choosing a ship. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
There is one issue I would like to point out. Don't just choose one ship or even one style of ship. They are merely tools. There is nothing wrong with shield taking, drones, certainly not projectiles. Be prepared to use whatever it takes to get th...

127. drones vs mwd frigates - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The real trick to applying drone damage, much like blasters, is a web. If you put 2 webs on a very fast frigate a flight of hammerheads will chew it right up. Same goes with light drones. The problem with this is catching it to begin with.

Sell the cruiser? Try anomolies? Run the tutorials for another agent until you are given another destroyer? Try one of those.

130. Low end WH ship - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Don't do it solo. A couple AF's and t1 cruisers with a salvage fit destroyer will smash through a C1. Just make sure to put some stabs on the dessi as it will be a floating piggy bank.

132. What to do when I have little time to spend on EVE? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Good choice. I have very limited play time as well. The way I see it there really isn't time to waste on shooting at red crosses and defenseless space rocks. Buy plex! Sell it. Buy lots of cheap ships. Lose them. Repeat!

Just work on those gunnery support skills. The thorax has a bonus to turret tracking and with a web should be able to shed even very fast frigates. There are also mods to improve turret tracking. You need to build your ships with a purpose in mi...
